5/10 TRANSFORMATION/RADIANCE

As the centre of the nine numbers, 5 connects the two sides; the personal 1, 2, 3, 4 and the impersonal 6, 7, 8, 9.  Similarly, a relationship brings two people together, each one holding a mirror to the other.  In this way, a relationship speaks the language of number 5.  By recognizing yourself through another, you can change and transform, but only if you are willing and honest enough to accept what you see.  When you get angry, take a moment and bring back your projected judgment.  Your anger is a way of controlling an unconscious and disagreeable recognition of one of your own unresolved aspects.  Relationships circulate through energy that must go out to discover what is happening within, and this flow is filtered through the confines of the mind.

It was in childhood that you first learnt to pull back into the safe place inside your head.  The reality of being your true self in all your glory was too much to handle, both for yourself and those around you.  Your nervous system couldn't take it, and anyway, those who brought you up had long withdrawn into their own secure space, and example taught you the same.  The older you got, the more you drew back, and the more you retreated energetically, the more you projected out mentally.  Your expectations ballooned with what was supposed to happen, and how people were meant to be.  These rulings were cast both inwardly and out and soon became a wall of resistance.  The journey towards consciousness and the completion of 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10 is to come back to an unqualified and unconditioned, open and free relationship with yourself at number 10.
